Bishop Brian D. Olden, Pastor
Bishop Brian Dewayne Olden is the son of the late
Ulysses C. Taylor and Juanita Olden. He is the oldest of his
mother's four children.
Servant and Minister
Bishop Olden surrendered to the call to preach the gospel
of Jesus Christ and was licensed to minister March 08, 1987. He
was ordained to minister July 30, 1989 under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Partee Pepper of Mt. Olive MBC, Clarksdale, AR. At the age of 5 years, he knew he had been called by the Lord and as a child would preach to any living being that would listen.
Husband, Father, Grandfather
On January 23, 1993, Bishop Olden was united in Holy matrimony to First Lady Sandra Washington. To their union have been added a son, Marcus Washington; a daughter, Dorcas " Breanna" Olden, and two granddaughters, Makayla Nicole Washington and Zoey Pittman.
Bishop Olden was consecrated to the office of Bishop on April 26, 2008 by Bishop T. A. Moore of World Harvest Covenant Churches International Fellowship in Los Angeles, CA. He was installed as a pastor of New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship Church in Blythesville, AR, December, 1995 where he presided as Senior Pastor for 16 years. On April 29,2012 he was installed a pastor of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he currently presides as Senior Pastor.
Bishop Olden obtained his Bachelor's degree from Jacksonville, FL Theological Seminary (satellite campus W. Memphis, AR) where Mr. Leo Adams is the facilitator. He is currently working towards obtaining his master's degree in Divinity.
